Because users aren't that interested in sysops arguing over trivial
matters that don't concern users. If all of this arguing were to be moved
to FN_SYSOP, the users might be able to read and discuss what this echo
was intended for, is advertised as and what it used to be. With no content
in the publication, is yet another reason there are no users here.

I was on QRZ.COM yesterday and was perusing the Technical Forum subjects
when I ran across a subject about an HR-2510, a 10mtr CW,USB,LSB,AM,FM
tranceiver.

Since I own two of these, I began to read that quorum and found that
someone was having a problem with the radio similar to what I was having.

The receiver was dropping out.

One of the posters there told the person with the problem what to look for
and do, I did that with my HR-2510 and lo and behold, it began to work
again. All that it was, was a re-tighten the board mounting screws, unplug
and re-plug all board connections. Now I have two working HR-2510s again.

I wish it were that simple to fix my Kenwood TS-520, but I'll probably end
up replacing the power supply capacitors in that one. I bought it brand
new in 1977, so I guess I don't have any reason to complain about it in
2012.
