The burden of proof is on the one who made the claim.  Ed Koon
claimed that Tim Richardson used a string of obscenities, or words
to that effect, in a private email to him.  Tim denied the accusation,
and Ed was unable to show evidence.  A classic case of he said, she
said, believe whatever the hell you want to believe type of thing.
In any event, it doesn't matter.  Ross Cassell had already managed
to get Ed Koon to cut Tim Richardson's access to the Fidonews.
The email fiasco was just a diversion to keep the real issue from
being noticed by others.

Tim Richardson's access to the Fidonews had been curtailed by
Ed Koon *before* any private email exchange took place.  It was
curtailed by Ed Koon because Ross Cassell ordered it to be done.

The email thing is nothing but a diversion.  Totally irrelevant
to the issue at hand.  It is Ed's board to do with as he pleases.
Ed can run his board by and for himself only, if that is his thing.
It's his computer.  His equipment.  His time.  His everything.
Nobody can tell Ed what to do with his own stuff or his own time.

Ross Cassell convinced Ed Koon to curtail Tim Richardson's access
to the Fidonews.  Ross Cassell is not going to tell anybody how he
did it.  Ed Koon is not going to tell anybody how he did it, either.
Maybe the two of them are lovers and wanted to share the echo for
themselves, with no interruptions from Tim or anybody else.  Who
the hell knows?  Who the hell cares?

If Tim wants read/write access to the Fidonews, he would be
doing himself a favor to find a board outside of Zone 1 to get
it.  And then make new friends.  Friends who speak the same
language as himself.
