It is bad.  And it is going to get worse.  Much worse.  More
than you can ever imagine.  NASA has just made a deal with the
Chinese to mine the Moon.  Do you know what that means?  Look
at Mars.  Used to be a wonderful place.  With a magnificent
civilization.  And then the Martians started monkeying around
with what used to be a planet between Mars and Jupiter, taking
things from one planet and moving it to another.  Well, we all
know what happened next.  Mars became a very dry planet, and
there is no more planet between Mars and Jupiter.

We are dependent on the Moon for tides, the seasons, rotational
stability, and even life itself given the human gestational period.
What do you think will happen when those forces become destabilized?
We will have earthquakes, floods, violent weather, unpredictable
fluctuations in temperature, and lots of other weird stuff.  It
may even result in the extinction of mankind, if not life on Earth.

Let `em in.  Let `em all in.  Why should any of their voices
be denied?  I say let everybody play, not just some or even most.

At the turn of the century (around 1900) the x-ray machine
was invented.  When x-rays showed what looked to be an abnormal
stomach, doctors operated.  And patients died.  At first, blame
was placed on the x-ray machines.  Others blamed the doctors
being incompetent.  But the real culprit was something else
entirely.  Prior to the use of x-rays, doctors and surgeons
had no idea of what the stomach looked like inside of people
as the only studies that were done was on human cadavers.
Those human cadavers were lying down.  The x-rays taken were
of humans standing up.  Therefore, doctors thought something
was seriously wrong with the patient.  Unnerstan'?

The operation was a total success, but the patient died.

There is evidence this has happened before within recorded
history.  About 500 years ago in the Americas, according to
geologists and other scientists/climatologists.  Whether
those conditions were a worldwide phenomena is unknown, but
possible.
