The whole thing was a diversion, a means of showing "moral
justification" of an action previously taken.  Hence the need
to make something up.  If an actual "nasty" email really did
exist, Ed Koon could easily have produced it on demand.  But
he didn't.  Because he couldn't.  Even after being challenged
in an open forum to do so.

I have already produced the fake echotag that Ross Cassell continues
to use in order to present himself as being the "elisted" moderator of
the Fidonews.  This is his "badge of authority" to get Zone 1 sysops
to do his bidding.

I have already produced a message by Ross Cassell admitting that he
got Ed Koon to curtail your access to the Fidonews.  It was only after
Ed Koon had complied with Ross Cassell's demand that you wrote a
private email to Ed Koon asking him why he had curtailed your access
to the Fidonews.

Then Ed Koon decided to cut your access to his board.

His system, his rules.  Right?  Not quite.

Ross Cassell wanted to cover his tracks by claiming he had nothing
to do with it.  That Ed Koon chose to cut your access to his board
because Ed Koon claimed that you had sent him a "nasty" email.

How can I possibly know that?  Am I psychic?  Not at all.
Just very observant.

Here is a message I wrote in the Fidonews, dated 5/16/2015,
under the subject heading "Teller of Tall Tales" -

Hello Everybody,

"If a user on your BBS tries to have you
fired from a job you hold ... then I'd bet
you'd change your tune about that user."

The "user" Janis was writing about is Tim
Richardson, the BBS she was writing about
being a system run by Ross Cassell, whose
job is anybody's guess, as it is Janis
who is Ross' boss.

She later contradicted herself by giving
a far different answer to this question -

Tell us why Tim Richardson is not allowed
to send or receive messages from Ed Koon's
BBS.

"From what I heard, Tim bad-mouthed Ed Koon,
but you'd probably have to ask Ed the reason."

See how that works?  Ross Cassell's BBS and
Ed Koon's BBS are one and the same!

In all fairness to Ed Koon, it really makes
no difference as to which BBS in Zone 1 that
Tim Richardson chose to use.  Ross Cassell
controls them all!

Janis Kracht told us Tim Richardson was
not allowed to send or receive messages
from Ross Cassell's BBS because he tried
to get Ross Cassell fired from a job he
holds.  In a later message Janis Kracht
told us Tim Richardson was not allowed
to send or receive messages from Ed Koon's
BBS because he had bad-mouthed Ed, but
that I would have to ask Ed the reason.
Even though she had already mentioned
the reason as being Tim had bad-mouthed
Ed.

Janis Kracht has failed to support or
substantiate a single thing she has written.
Why is that?  Could it be she made it all
up?  Is she a teller of tall tales?

Well, I asked Ed about it.  Is it true
that Tim Richardson bad-mouthed Ed Koon?
And you know what?  Ed's cat ate his reply.
Never made it to cyberspace.  Dang spacecat.
Should have been neutered years ago.

They say that lightning never strikes twice
and that cats have nine lives.  Both Ed's
computer and his stupid spacecat have had
more than their fair share.

But hey.  At least the dog did not eat
his homework.  That would have been a real
tragedy for us all in fidonet.  Can't have
a dog without diskette in the fidoworld.

Maybe she hears voices, as I could find no
evidence of Ed Koon ever complaining about
anything Tim may or may not have said.  But
hey.  Ed Koon is free to write in and tell
us all about it.  If there is anything to
tell.  And if not, he can do a Janis on us
by making stuff up.
