Loretta Lynn is a coal miner's daughter.  But she chose a different
life, having a unique talent in music (and acting).  And now, at age
84, she is (or was) on tour again.  Not sure if she would have made
it nearly that long had she chosen the same profession as her father.

Coal miners know they always have a job with the same company,
even after a mine shuts down.  They collect their unemployment
benefits (they earned it), wait for the next job to start, and
then go back to work.  That is not welfare, but rather a way
of life.  Those coal miners are not poor, and earn a good living
doing what they do.  Whether in Kentucky, West Virginia, or any
other area where coal is mined.

When it comes to Kentucky there are only Wildcats and never Cardinals.

He got another term, winning against another weak candidate.
A woman who had no business running in the first place.
