Not all hot air poppers are created equal.  Some work better than
others.  Others not at all.  Coffee beans roast between 370 to 540
degrees Fahrenheit, depending on the bean.  Too low and they will
remain green forever.  Figure on 480 degrees Fahrenheit as miminum
standard.  Also keep in mind lack of air circulation when using
air poppers.  That means lots of chaff.

Tell your friend to wait 24 hours before consumption.  The delay
allows the CO2 to evaporate giving the coffee a much better taste.

Best is mortar and pestle.  The ones made of real lava.  But
first you have to cure it.  A woman from Guatemala showed me how
to do that.  She was older than time itself, and couldn't speak
a word of English, but her mind was all there.

Raw oysters are the best.  The non-pasteurized versions.  Those gray
slimy things sliding down your throat are oh so good.  The feds tried
to force Cajuns to pasteurize raw oysters but wound up creating a
major uprising.  When I die I want to die happy.  And I can't think
of a better way to go than stuffing myself with as many raw oysters
as can be eaten.  That is what is meant by land of the free, and
home of the brave.
