There are many other forms.  Nuns use a method called abstinence.
Except when alone with priests.  If and when a nun gets pregnant,
there is a convent for pregnant nuns where she can bear her child.
And then the child is adopted by the church, and trained to be
a member of the choir.  The boys who show promise are then given
roles as altar boys, and the girls something else (note - in the
US girls are also allowed to serve as altar boys).

Abortion is a medical procedure, and is a choice made between
doctor and patient.  Insurance pays the tab, so the cost is minimal
for the patient.  And if one is indigent, welfare pays it all.
Yes, being pregnant is a pre-existing condition and very treatable.

Why are we here?  What is man's purpose in life?  By man, I mean
both man and woman.  Remember God's first commandment -

               BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY

That was God's original commandment.  His one and only commandment.
Or maybe He was a She.  Possibly both a He and a She.  Imagine that.
God a True Hermaphrodite.

Life begins at the moment of conception.  That life may not yet
be viable to exist outside the womb, but it is a life.

Infanticide, whether inside the womb or outside the womb, is still
infanticide.  Now, when is an infant not an infant?  That is the
real question.

Anything that has a beginning has an end.  Even a rock.  But not
everything that has a beginning qualifies as being a life.  Such as
a rock.  However, defacing a rock and killing a baby are two very
different things.

If a man punches a pregnant woman and kills her unborn child as
a result of that punch, he is likely to be prosecuted for murder.
At least in states that have such laws.  In other places, such
as Iran or Saudi Arabia, the man would be given a round of applause.
