Obama's Chicago home is a Georgian Mansion at 5046 S Greenwood Avenue,
Chicago, IL, 60615 - it's on the South Side, in the Kenwood neighborhood.
If you would like to live next door to the Obamas, the house next door is
for sale. Don't be too jealous of the Obama, since this house is only 6000
sq ft, while the Obama house is 6500 sq ft.

The White House belongs to the people and it is not considered to be the
home of anyone. Obama and his family occupy the people's house. The
people's house is also a place for government business and so the Obama
has to be at the office everyday. It is much easier to commute from the
WH's master bedroom than it is from Chicago on a daily basis, thus the
reason why Presidents most always occupy the people's house for the
duration of their term in office. When the party is over, Obama will be
heading back to Chicago and his Georgia Mansion.

Yeup. Once a bill goes to the Prez for signing and he doesn't sign it,
Congress can over ride his veto, but it will take a 2/3rds majority to do
so. If they passed something with only a 51% majority, how could the
Congress hope to gather a 2/3rds majority? i.e. 100 Senators, 2/3rds = 66
votes...

Legislation has to pass both houses before it is sent to the Prez for
his vote. If one house (Senate) has changed what the House has passed, it
goes back to the House for another vote...These bills are usually sent to
a committee for review and discussion, which may be the end of a bill or a
bill changed back to what it was before it left the voting chamber. Then
it requires a floor vote of the House and back to the Senate, where it is
processed in the same way.

The chances of a Veto over ride are pretty slim.
