Excellent suggestion, so here goes for me:

I've been an active Fidonet sysop since 1996 (although I wasn't officially
nodelisted until later as a full node).  I am a former Region 11 coordinator.
While I have not written any FTN-specific software, I am an active BBS doorgame
and utility author writing in Pascal but I am familiar with FTN terms,
structure and topology.  I've set up and used over 30 different BBS software
packages and am familiar how many of them interface with FTN.

I currently moderate five echoes in Fidonet and serve as a Fidonet point mail
hub and an "othernet" mail hub/feed for my own FTN-style network.

As a prospective member of the FTSC, I'm interested in serving the Fidonet
community by recognizing and documenting current standards in order to better
serve current Fidonet sysops and preserve Fidonet for future users.  With my
broad experience in BBS software, front-end mailer software and utility
software, I can bring the best of many worlds into a current Fido-centric
viewpoint.

I'm really not sure what else people would be interested in about me in this
context, but feel free to ask.
