Looks like it's fixed.  Note that I sent netmail earlier but said I had duty
yesterday and was catching up messages.

Netmail to me is 'one hop less' I think from Barry so you will have to see what
works best for you.  See Ward's linkage info and my reply. Janis works as well
and this time, speed is just an hour or so difference.  Since i certainly dont
poll that often for mail, I will not be faster in any perceptable way.

BTW, Janis is in the hospital.  Seems she busted up a rib badly and colapsed a
lung?  I know no more as of yet on reading other than she isnt feeling top of
the line but anticipation was she'd be ok and let go in a few days from the
hospital.

Some of the splintering is due to too many hops.  The old structure had a built
in limit to how many would be there.  The new 'draw where you want' has none
which solved one problem but creates at times, another.

I just cant figure out how to explain what i know, by 'specs'.  Or rather, I
can but...

My 'specs' are based on my work more than anything else.  Fidonet has few
'computer security specialists' who do this as a job.  The problem is I have
to translate what I know from both computer tech and computer security tech,
as well as 'military training' to something all can make sense of.

Ward netmailed you about linkages and where and how far.  He hit it dead on,
but not in the way I would have started and did not make it out to be 3
options with what each was useful for (sorry to the rest, this will not make
sense totally but I'm on a roll and the IDEA is what Scott will understand).

Hehe possiby.  Meantime, I have no objection to letting him try out the place.
Many have joined witha specific ajenda and left in just a month when fireballs
didnt erupt out of all our asses but some stayed and have been valid people
who help.

He's familiar but likes a minimal load *NIX.  He's not WIN abusive, just not
fond of it.  Mostly, he thinks WIN has it's place but not in his home ans
tends to promote UNIX for home systems.  Nothing harmful there.
