Hello TIM!
17 Oct 17 15:32, you wrote to me:
MM>> SOme do. with guns. If you're going to blame all Muslims for the
MM>> acts of a few, it's ok to blame all Christians for the acts of a
MM>> few, right? fair is fair!
TR> *Islam* is not a `religion of peace'. If you believe that you have
TR> been listening to too much propaganda. It is a terrorist idiology.
TR> It's own teachings call for forcing people to convert or die! Their
TR> so-called `prophet'; Muhammad; was a mass murderer, a violent mercless
TR> war-monger and a child molester!
Christianity / Judiasm is no different. the Bible is full of commands to kill
non-believers.
TR>> In other words....you aren't only gonna take the change and like
TR>> it....you're gonna PAY for it!
MM>> I see you don't understand how Insurance works.
TR> I know all too well. We aren't talking about *insurance*. We are
TR> talking about a *government mandate* forcing people who's religious
TR> beliefs oppose abortion to pay for it. We are talking about the
TR> government forcing business people of religious belief, to participate
TR> in a perverted display of same-sex sodomite marriage.
Taxes are not paying for abortions. Insurance is. Insurance is an optional
thing. If you don't buy Insurance, you pay a tax to the government. those tax
dollars do not go to abortions, but ACA subsidies and other healthcare
programs. (Medicare does not cover abortions except in very special
circumstances)
MM>> I don't want to pay for
MM>> circumcisions, but I don't get a say in that either.
TR> Nobody asked you to.
Doesn't matter, if I pay for Insurance, I pay for circumcisions. Arguably,
more of my tax dollars go to circumcisions than abortions.
TR>> Or the sodomites;
TR>> You aren't only gonna accept that same-sex sodomites can degrade
TR>> your sacrement of matrimony....you're gonna be forced to
TR>> participate in it by making their wedding cake! Screw YOUR values.
TR>> Screw YOUR religious beliefs!
MM>> If I owned a bakery, and someone came in and wanted a cake that
MM>> said "Praise Jesus" I would have to make it, because Religion is a
MM>> protected thing under the Civil Rights act.
TR> No, you would not.
TR> All you have to do is tell them to go to someone who will cater to
TR> their needs. As a business person you *have the right to refuse
TR> service to anyone*.
Incorrect. Under the Civil Rights Act I can't refuse. I can't refuse to make a
cake for someone who is a different race, nor can I make a cake for someone who
is a different religion. That is the law.
TR>> Lefties aren't satisfied with just winning a step toward
TR>> their prefered way of having things, they gotta try forcing
TR>> everybody to sacrifice their standards so they don't feel near as
TR>> bad about themselves. They want to force participation of the
TR>> religious community so as to `normalize' their degenerate
TR>> behavior. Make it mainstream.
MM>> Your stupid religion says it's "degenerate behavior". other stupid
MM>> religions say it's not. Who is right?
TR> *I* don't have any "religion"!
You aren't a Christian? You sure talk like one.
MM>> Don't like Abortion? don't get one.
TR> And I refuse to pay for one, either.
You have that option. do not patronize insurance companies that pay for them.
MM>> Don't like same-sex marriage? Don't get married to a same-sex
MM>> partner.
TR> And I would not do business with a same-sex couple who were getting
TR> `married', that constituted `participation' in their perverted notion
TR> of what that means.
Would you feel the same way about interracial couples? It is no different. the
same argument was made 50 years ago, just replace "same-sex" with
"interracial".
MM>> You're funny, Timmy. You're all for freedom, until someone does
MM>> something you don't like. Then that freedom should be taken away,
MM>> even if it doesn't harm you in the least. You're such a hypocrite.
TR> First of all....in the future if you wish to have me participate in an
TR> exchange with you on any level, my name is *Tim*. This is not the
TR> first time you've used an insulting diminutive of my name, and up till
TR> now I've pretty well ignored it. I do not refer to you in any
TR> diminutive manner, and I expect the same treatment in return.
Chances are, when you were young, you went by, or someone called you "Timmy",
and you were OK with it. I'm just calling you by a name you (quite likely) used
in the past, just like you do with President Obama, and just how you call LGBTQ
people "sodomites". To get respect you have to give respect, Timmy. Count
yourself lucky that I went with "Timmy" instead of "Chickenshit Hypocrite".
TR> Once more and I will no longer respond *to* you at all.
Because you know you're a hypocrite, and you can't stand it when I call you
out on it.
TR> Secondly, people who hold either religious or moral beliefs and
TR> principles, that the government can `mandate' they act otherwise do
TR> not have `freedom' in the first place. They are slaves!
The government mandates that murder is illegal. Your statement above seems to
indicate that you would make an exception for religious beliefs and principles.
If someone's principles included "Kill all the Jews", that would be perfectly
legit, because god forbid they become a "slave" to the government that tells
them they can't do that.
TR> Any business you walk into has the right to refuse service to you. In
TR> fact, many businesses have signs in prominent places that say; "We
TR> Reserve The Right To Refuse Service To Anyone."
But they can't. It is illegal to deny service to someone based on their skin
color, religion, sex, or national origin. See: The Civil Rights Act of 1964.
TR> Taxpayers in a vast majority do not feel called upon to pay huge sums
TR> of money to a place like Planned Parenthood knowing the majority of
TR> that organizations actions is performing abortions. Aside from what
TR> the lefties snuck in and leftie judges are `pretending' to see in the
TR> `umbra and pe-numbra' of the Constitution, a huge majority of
TR> Americans object to giving half a billion dollars every year to an
TR> abortion mill.
BZZT incorrect. In 2013 Abortions accounted for 3% of the nearly 10.6 million
services provided by Planned Parenthood.
* 4.5 million tests and treatments for STDs
* 3.6 milion contraception related services
* 935,573 cancer screenings (including breast exams and pap tests)
* 1.1 million pregnancy tests and prenatal services (including adoption
referrals)
Using those numbers, roughly 330,000 (rounded up) abortions are performed per
year through Planned Parenthood.
Now, these are individual services. The total number of people serviced at
Planned Parenthoods in 2013 was around 2.7 million, which means roughly 12
percent of clients received an abortion, assuming no one received more than
one.
So, once again your claim that "the majority of that organizations actions is
performing abortions." is incorrect. fake news. a lie.
TR> Birth control is a lot cheaper than an abortion. And far more humane.
Hey! we agree on something! Good thing Planned Parenthood provides those
services! Now if only we could get the Christian Right to stop promoting
abstinence in schools, and instead teach safe sex practices, we would have
fewer abortions! Statistics show that fewer abortions are performed in areas
where a comprehensive safe sex classes are taught to students vs abstinence
only.
