Ken!)

                    Is Barbie Married To A Drug Lord???

Barbie in an interesting case. She was initially produced as the modern
icon of political correctness, but this no longer applies.

Think about it. Barbie has no job to name except for short spells as a
ballerina, racing car driver and nurse. But apparently blond hair counts
rather more than CV points[1] in Barbies job search. And she fills most
of her time in a shopping department. Her boyfriend Ken provides for her
every need. The precise details of Ken's job remain a little cloudy but
the whole situation seems a little dodgy to say the least. All we know is
that he earns enough to finance cosmetic surgery, a Ferrari, a dream
house and Barbies daily shopping sprees. Only two jobs spring to mind
that would pay that sort of money: a drug lord or management consultant.
Since management consultant would have too many syllables for Barbie to
cope with, we can only assume that Ken is a drug lord. So, Barbie's
obvious problems are only the tip of the iceberg. Anorexic, brainless and
top heavy, she is also in a relationship with a drug lord.

As plastic surgery advances further and further, the danger is that more
and more women will mutilate themselves in the name of beauty until the
Barbie clone is attained and no one thinks of anything other than, "Let's
go shopping". Ken may not have invaded society to the same extent as
Barbie, but does see him only transparently disguised in various male
fashion ads. It can't be long before everyone will clone themselves to
Barbie or Ken and everyone will watch the same TV shows and wear the same
clothes. She is still promoting exactly the same role-cliched ideals as
she did in the 1950's.
