I think there's a couple local fellas I can pick on.  XYl's ex husband could do
it, but I hate to ask him. IN fact, when we came up here after Katrina he gave
me three sections of roen 25.  HIS wife wanted them out of there. THey were up
at my old place until recently, just supporting some wire antennas though. All
I was going to hunt up was some pushup pole or something for a vhf/uhf j pole
but son-in-law came up with this tower. I made him tell me where it came from
because I figured he might just walk away with it from somebody's yard knowing
him. THat's when he admitted it came from xyl's ex om.

Yep, but a nice day today.  Mainly it's the top section which I just inherited.
OTher three sections aren't too bad, just hit 'em with fresh coat of paint.
THis top section though is pretty needy of the elbow grease.  Been at it most
of the day today and it's coming out alright.

NOt really looking forward to that one either, but looking forward to having
that tri-bander in the air, so gotta do it.

Swore up and down after Katrina I"d never do another tri-bander with all the
hardware, but the 14.3 bunch convinced me otherwise, and the beam and rotor
were contributions to convince me to do it, and it will sure improve my
effectiveness running phone patches and helping out on the net.
