That would have been neat.  i used to browse Ham Radio
Center in St. Louis occasionally.

Texas Towers?  I used to like Burghart too, and Ham Radio
Outlet, HRO is still in business.  Almost ordered some rotor cable from them
and some other things a few years ago,
prices beat just about anybody, even the local here in
Memphis, who didn't have as much cable as I wanted.  Then he got some in, so I
paid a little more, probably evened out
when you factor in shipping.

I did much the same with our local ham radio store in
Memphis.

Kathy  is, and she does okay browsing hamfests in her chair, in fact, while i
do the arrl meetings and what not I send
Kathy around wandering with a list of parts odds and ends we could use and have
her look, keep in touch with her on uhf
simplex in case she has questions.  The store though wasn't
real wheelchair friendly inside, and she can't stand that
long.  IF we were actually going to make a purchase though
I'd bring her inside.

Can relate to that.  I can get Kathy in the hardware store
to browse.  Thing is, she doesn't yet understand me looking
around the plumbing section.  I see antenna parts ,g..

YEp, they're probably hoping to move all the stock they can, even with internet
orders.  The brick and mortar may have
closed but ... ya know how that goes.
