the time.

Islam's "Holy of Holies" is a huge shrouded obelisk with a supposed meteorite
stuck on one corner that they kiss. The very same obelisk at Mohamed's time was
covered by representations of various gods. The one they kept was the moon god,
hence the crescent moon symbol on all their holy places. The religion began
with and still uses convert by force tactics.

The LDS do not use idols or icons. We invite people to investigate and allow
them to make their own choice whether they want to join or not.

As I pointed out in my reply to Ackley, the LDS Church is at the forefront at
clothing, feeding and comforting those in need. The LDS Church ships 12 million
tons of clothing to third world countries and many tons of food worldwide. Part
of the Missionary effort in the Third World is to teach the people to feed
themselves and help them build farms and canneries.

When there is an emergency in any part of the world, the LDS Church is among
the first to go in with food, clothing and shelter. When there is a disaster
wherever there is an LDS chapel or building, the building is used to help the
victims.
