Really. I find nothing simple concerning religion, God, meaning, purpose,
value, cosmology, the reaches of theology, the reaches of science. If any
of these things seem simple to you, you are in my opinion not awake. :-|

I think I'd probably stay and change the way the church did things. Or

No, your error is guessing how others think, act, should think, should act.
How many churches have you tried? How many pastors have you 'checked out'?
Your ability to estimate correctly the acumen of others is without much
evidence. And the word is 'err' not error. Your prime ability as shown here
is to leap to insult, which is an attribute not really calling for high
praise. Every religion, every political party, every nation, every
civilization, falls short of the glory of God. :-) There are many ways of
thinking; some concepts do not appear in some languages - (e.g., some
colors have no name, thirteen different words for 'wave' etc. ...) and if
we judge, (and we all do) we do so in ignorance. I for one cannot
understand why someone would insult another's religion, or another person
who believes in it. IMO, there are exactly 56,456,324 different levels of
'faith' ... twice as many interpretations of what "God" means. There are
Mormons on both sides in congress. So they disagree. Would they disrespect
the others grasp of his religion? Not ever, not once, because they are too
intelligent to do so, Ah well, this is like most others an echo is which no
mind has been changed :-)     
You haven't changed mine a whit...perhaps I'll start taking those acumen
pills...
