But the POINT was that ancient theology is compared with modern science.
Ancient science was frought with error...
Modern theological thought is quite different than the
biblical literalists you denounce... :-)
And if one is not interested in tedious theology beng
a biblical literalist can be a very fine thing.

Incidently science fiction contains some GREAT theology...

accusition of knowledge stops.

Really? God aside, I doubt that you can prove, not demonstrate but prove
the existance of any on my list.  

'Demonstration' of the existance of God are made every day
by the Jihadists...their death is their 'demonstration'...

He had great plans...a religious tolerance and modernity that almost
damaged the Catholic Church beyond repair...
(In the 60's I studied Pauline theology  with the Basilian Fathers in
Toronto (At St. Basils...)

BTW, I am not a Catholic...but I agree with those who find in it rich
consolation...
