No...I would have had to dial 011 to access the international lines to
have dialed Holland. 011-31-xxxxxxx would be Holland. I dialed it like you
wrote it. I just dialed it via land-line and got a message that I need to
dial a one before the 315 area code. However, cell phones are different in
that you don't have to dial a 1 before the area code. So, I dialed it
again on the cell. I let it ring this time and reached Jan (could have
been Dan) and Louise Marcy's answering machine somewhere in upstate New
York.

I know few aquaintences stationed at Randolph AFB in SA, so I'll ask
around.

I meant that you would have picked 312 out of the blue when it was
actually 315. 312 is the Chicago area code.
