There is no problem for N550-nodes, all have apparently been reached, many/most
have responded in one way or the other and have been helped.
 
The messages were sent-out in the region55-sysop-conference and in routed
individual netmail to all concerned.
 
The issue is rather with a few non-R55 people and their links, their sessions
have been failing (and in some individual cases still are failing). If a sysop
for about 3 weeks does not notice that his/her connection is failing ... then
... what?
 
Do you have a problem perhaps?
 
RC55 resigned and at the blink of an eye dropped a segment in-here with himself
removed from the coordination-function. Then the same person, at the next blink
of an eye, also abandoned the NC550-position. Is it a problem to you that I try
to deal with this?
 
You also make it seem as if the "Immediate action required" message was a
behind-the-back thing while in fact it was posted in the region55-echo, the
Z2-sysop echo, it went by routed netmail to all R55-sysops and went by direct
netmail to all zone-2 RC's.
 
It is quite extra-ordinary that from the whole of zone-2, and thus R55, nobody
objected and the only comments seem to come from you. Please do not regurgitate
any hogwash about fear for nodenumbers, they don't get removed here all that
fast.
