I am not sure about that.  That was awhile ago and I never bothered with PC's
until the 386 came out.  Even then I think I jumped the gun as 486's were way
better.  Also when I bought my first PC the version of DOS on it never survived
long as I needed something more compatible with Unix and especially decent
networking.  I had to write my own.

Sounds simular to my current 64-bit build except bash scripts instead of batch
files.  I have cpat which is a ncurses based solitaire.

Not exactly a screenshot but I am sure you get the idea.  Would be easy to turn
into a BBS doorgame without too much hassel.

Understood.  For me that made the move from DOS to Linux relatively easy
comparitively speaking to most people.
