Hey All!

We're back with a vengence!

Booted a ramdisk from /dev/sdc1 which is a usb flashdisk thingy and from dmesg
it looks like this;

scsi 8:0:0:0: Direct-Access OCZ ET1208AD 1.0 PQ: 0 ANSI: 2
sd 8:0:0:0: [sdc] 4014080 512-byte hardware sectors: (2.05 GB/1.91 GiB) sd
8:0:0:0: [sdc] Write Protect is off sd 8:0:0:0: [sdc] Mode Sense: 00 00 00 00
sd 8:0:0:0: [sdc] Assuming drive cache: write through sd 8:0:0:0: [sdc] 4014080
512-byte hardware sectors: (2.05 GB/1.91 GiB) sd 8:0:0:0: [sdc] Write Protect
is off sd 8:0:0:0: [sdc] Mode Sense: 00 00 00 00 sd 8:0:0:0: [sdc] Assuming
drive cache: write through sdc: sdc1 sdc2 sdc3

From it's prompt;

root:~# uname -a
Linux kooky 2.6.29.1 #1 SMP Mon Apr 20 06:59:21 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux

root:~# df

Note I bumped it up from 8M to 16M since I needed some extra modules to
accomadate wireless possibilties. As we speak, I am logged into the Atom
machine, which is officially 12VDC as of last week, from the Xeon machine so I
could post this message here since the ramdisk cannot do web crap at the moment
and may never do that as it doesn't need to. I am using ssh over wireless to
login to the Atom. Seems to work! :-)

Here is a package list I hope might become the next generation ttylinux, or at
least the major package busybox. The openss{l,h} and zlib could easily be
replaced by dropbear methinks.

root:~# ls -1 /var/log/packages

   aaa_base-1.0-20090420-x86_64
   bash-3.2.48-20090420-x86_64
   busybox-1.14.0-20090420-x86_64
   e2fsprogs-1.41.4-20090420-x86_64
   glibc-2.9-20090420-x86_64
   lilo-22.8-20090420-x86_64
   ncurses-5.7-20090420-x86_64
   openssh-5.2p1-20090421-x86_64
   openssl-1.0.0-beta1-20090420-x86_64
   wireless_tools-30.pre8-20090420-x86_64
   zlib-1.2.3-20090421-x86_64

Looking good, no?

Emulation?!?!?!? What the fsck for? Let's see you DOS-think twerps try and
emulate this!!! <BFEG>

Now this is what I call a BBS. :-)

Life is good,
Maurice
