Yes but sitting at a dumb terminal is somewhat transparent, that you work
remotely.. Dialing up a BBS is less transparent. :)

Heh.. I guess they use serial consoles several places for administrating
servers when the network breaks down on the machines.

Ah so you've been writing fortran.. I looked at some fortran code the
other day.. I think the syntax is suitable for representing pseudo code.
It's very readable.

I see.. Using C libraries from Python, Perl, etc. is not new I guess.

When transfering files? I would be very impressed if you wrote a complete
Zmodem implementation in bash.. :)

I guess you cannot power an entire system by 2.5 W .. Even not CPU and 
RAM. If you can do that you're close, CF cards doesn't consume that much.
