With most of Fidonet using the Internet to exchange mail with, binkd is a
logical choice given its behavior like POTS mailers behave.

I used to offer FTP, but why, to see the stupid attempt logon attemps?

Another consideration is many in Fidonet are running on home broadband
connections, they are often prohibited from running servers, binkd is obscure
enough and on a obscure port to not be a bother.

If you dont care about Microsoft, thou dost not bitch about Microsoft, or their
OS or its users, die hard or otherwise and certainly dont go on and on about
DOS-think.. ;-)

I have found using Linux to hub Fidonet mail to have been one of the better
decisions I have made, hey I used to do it under Windows 98/2000/XP.
