More than you know...

Clicking no/cancel, alt-f4 or the X to dismiss the popup usualy means yes.

A windows user is best advised to terminate the browser process or at worse,
turn the machine off immediately.

You have seen my posts on this before in the DEBATE echo.

Any version of Linux would have sufficed in this case, these sites target
Windows machines.

Its not hard to do, but it requires street smarts and many of todays users dont
have that.

On my main machine, all I have running is Kaspersky Internet Security. I keep
it updated and I dont fall for all the tricks the malware authors use.

I do have a standalone tool called malwarebytes that I use to check behind
Kasperky and I always come up clean, maybe a tracking cookie from time to time.

If I want to surf dangerously, using Synergy, I sweep my mouse up to one of the
2 Linux boxes and open up FF.

synergy is a KM program that allows me to control the Linux Desktops from the
keyboard and mouse on the windows box, Synergy is open source. Just move the
mouse off the top of the screen and boom.
