Done and done. William has posted to me about the issue here, and on
OFFLINE. I should be in good hands.

As you may have read by now, I only have access to the elf file at this
time. (Long story.) Maybe tomorrow I can grab the src. (Involves a CD-R
and a bit of petrol.)

<LOL> I just didn't want to set a deadline I couldn't keep. Maybe "End of
the quarter." could be a realistic target. Because I've toyed with only a
handful of distros to date, I'm FAR from married to anything yet.

Compiling I can do... Just. <G>

Now, if I only had an Uncle Bob! <-;

 MA> L8r. :)

Thanks for the details, Martin. Because of health, limited mobility, and a
few more months of - perhaps self-induced - poverty, I have to abscond
an I-Net connection to procure any new files.

In the meantime, the CD-RW is proving its worth with all the formating
I've been doing lately. Out of curiosity, and please, no distro war
intended, how's Mandrake working out for you? I cut my teeth on v-6 with a
P1, moved to 10, and now, just put RH up on a Celeron. Again, you may have
read by now that I was having a few issues with Mnadrake.

... To be, or not to be....Ah, what was the question?
