That is what I am thinking.  However I like the idea of MBSE to use the joe
editor on the BBS to do the same sort of thing, albiet the end result probably
employing the more DOS-think format(s) such as JAM.  That is where I start
having an issue with BBS packages as they tend to lean far too much towards
pleasing the DOS-think crowd.  Oh well.  I suppose 'the customer is always
right' ideology is coming into play there but this particular 'customer'
doesn't like that ideology one little bit since I'd rather employ Unix-think
when dealing with a localized archiving scheme.  Externally transmitted garbage
is a whole other can of worms ... sometimes even literally when speaking
DOS-think.  I honestly believe that needs to change no matter what the target
OS is but I don't get to decide that.

That I know nothing about and for whatever reason am happy to report that is
indeed the case.  No MS crap on any of my systems, emulation or otherwise.  You
can keep it.  There is way better pursuits in a well thought out Linux system,
even gaming if that is what floats your boat.  Overpriced for what it is worth
methinks but those are often the people (the programmers) who know how to
squeeze good graphics out of a system.  Sometimes they know what they're doing.
 Not always.
