I think you need a proper usb driver for win98.  Do a search for it but I know
that M-Systems used to have one online - www.m-systems.com is a good place to
start.

For sure.  No doubt about that here.

I know it works with Linux.  Just don't go fdisking them with Windows and it
should work out as long as you have a proper usb driver for Windows (whatever
version).  You could later format them with Windows but that might be risky,
although I have yet to see it screw it up other then when someone tries to make
them bootable.  That ends up rewriting the mbr with a faked out floppy dealie
and I am think might be dangerous to the longterm health of the drive.  I am
not sure but I don't trust it.

The blinds sound interesting.  I have no room in here for furniture ... other
then what I already have that is.  I am a fairly frugal person.

I never thought about it that way but now that you mention it that seems to be
exactly what is happening here.
