I didn't realize that there was any limit on _partition_ sizes, but there _is_
a limit on file sizes to 2 GB or less under the HPFS file system. To my
knowledge, this does not apply under the JFS (journalling file system) that can

I haven't used the OS/2 boot loader for years, and don't recommend it. Install
OS/2 on some secondary partition and boot it with Lilo or XFDISK and you'll
have no problems. The partition has to have the boot code, however, and if
necessary this can be installed using sysinstx.com (look for it in the boot
disk, works like sys.com under DOS) after booting OS/2 from diskettes.

Delete the OS/2 bootloader partition (with XFDISK) and boot OS/2 with another
tool, as indicated above. Works just fine.

He is. The only dfsee I know of is a tool for manipulating and investigating
hard disk partitions. There are versions for OS/2 and Windows.
