Hey mark!

I suppose. Never really was an issue but I imagine to some it would be.

Right. Stuff happens.

I don't recall the first time I encountered a FAQ or where but did write
simular things to HOWTOs and manpages way back when in a land far, far away.
FAQs are alright ... sometimes. Sure would be easily adaptable to a true
bulletin board system. No?

Although nowhere near 500+ messages a day, the same thing happens to this day.
Seems to me that a BBS could be exploiting that functionality to this day and
perhaps there is an answer there as to present day usefullness of a BBS. Hard
to say for sure.

ml> where's that archive located? i only have max-3.03-etc.tar.gz (dated

I forget where I got it but after looking at the compress.cfg contained within
I didn't think it important, or at least not how it pertains to Linux or any
other Unixie thingy.

ml> comes straight out of the CVS... my routines completely remove the

I haven't bothered with CVS lately. Tried SVN and didn't care much for that
either. I can wait.

Beats me. I am out of touch with CVS and simular strategies.

Well that obviously doesn't apply to me unless they are willing to part with
some of those millions. Not many of those around this neck of the woods ... if
any. Definetly not any generous ones.

ml>> nah! was just trying to be helpful ;)

MK>> Me too. One of these days it might actually work eh? ;-)

ml> hehe, yeah... and lemmings'll quit jumping over the cliff O:)

Did they ever start? I thought that was a made up Disney deal?

Life is good,
Maurice
