Of course  not, one of my many and public stubles from which I either
get great advice or find it myself during fidonet lag to reply.

Hmm, I'd had it ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/lib/codecs 
I tried or similar ( hoping to remember to save.)

The directory has the full boatload of codecs allready in place.

Could you resend the link to that AVI you created, I fogot 
to save /home/wchirnside/text/url.txt from Multimail before 
deleting the packet and no current way to reset message pointers.

Can't even find  my politics directory were some reside on hda3 at the moment.

 Interrum project to divert myself in my leisure time had been
collecting various sorts of files of the multimedia less
than fully dressed atractive ladies files

Heave_ho function on hold Maurice as I'm only human.
Hard drives useless unreliable beasts they be do have some
marginal uses.
