Sounds good.  Doesn't hurt to check and make sure.  I am glad I did since I
obviously got too used to it working and never noticed when they got rid of the
16M upper limit.  It never was an issue that I ever noticed, since before this
I only had one other card that had more then 16M available to it, not counting
the shared memory cases which has nothing to do with Matrox's.  Mind you I do
have an AGP one with a g200, 64M and three risc graphic processors onboard but
that isn't really a matrox card so I am not sure it counts.  Does it? 
According to HP it is one of theirs.  The default matroxfb settings don't all
work on that card which I find a tad annoying and I never wanted to revert back
to vesa just for a few resolutions.

I've never had one of those.  Used to be on the gamer's wish list in days gone
by and have heard both good and some bad about it but personally I have no
idea.  Obviously I have gotten too comfortable with Matrox's.

Easily resolved by not buying encrypted media in the first place.  It isn't an
issue here.  Looking down I see a DVD-ROM collecting dust as we speak.  I am
content that I don't need it and if I find I do then it is a sign to pack it
in.

I can be that way too, but svga isn't on my backwards compatibility list.  I
don't miss it.  I found it to be too slow and cumbersome.
