I am not sure I ever had a manual for it.  Was it ever needed?  I didn't think
so at the time.  Seemed pretty straight forward to me.

If I recall correctly, it took me about a month with MS-DOS before it got the
heave ho here.  That was a long time ago in a land far, far away.  I never
missed it.  Mostly used PC-DOS but played around with a few others.  DR-DOS
wasn't too shabby but was noticeably slower running apps then PC-DOS was at the
exact same apps.  As for text editors I never noticed since I was the slowest
typing there and thus anything could keep up, even a DOS based word processor.

From the little I saw it looked fine.  The neighbour liked it so I assume it is
fine.  He is definetly more of a GUI type then I am, to say the least.  Also he
is trustworthy but sometimes misses something that isn't readily apparent.

I am no longer sure about emulation but binkd is okay if you like that sort of
thing.  Works here on both a 486 and Pentimu D EM64T, although I no longer use
or even need it on the Pentium D.  Having said that, the one currently running
on the 486 was built using the Pentium D with a special development partition
built especially for that purpose.  I am betting the 486 here is the most up to
date 486 ever!!!  :-)  If not it is certainly up there.

DOS emulation?!?!?!?!?!  What for?  DOS never could compete with any Unix EVER,
nevermind Linux.  I say, let it go, set it free.
