Howdy friends!

Other than Hyperaccess Pro and HyperHost, what are available options to log in
to an OS/2 system via dial-up phone lines and work from the dial-in computer at
a desktop level with OS/2?

I've been doing this for YEARS now just fine with my local systems and my R40
ThinkPad to myf Fido 1:117/3000 site via POTS.  But no matter what I have
tried, I can't dial in to the in-town main site this way on any of the boxes on
which I have installed HyperHost so I can work an in-town box OS/2 desktop.  I
get the connection completed on POTS just fine, but the 'remote' screen on the
HyperAccess Pro system just sits there solid black.  And yes, I do understand
that one has to have different serial number Hyper products to log to another
HyperHost enabled system.  The systems involved are very distinctly different
serial numbers.

More interesting, if I am in-town and have HyperHost set up for a TCP host
choice instead of POTS telephone service, I can log in just fine from the same
system(s) to any such HyperHost enabled box via TCP and any box combo done that
way works perfectly.

I do also have both enough original SIO and SIO2K registered COMM driver codes
to make sure that this isn't a problem.  I have no trouble at all using plain
POTS and fully registered versions of these to use full modem dialup and VMODEM
for BBS dial-in support any direction on these same boxes.  I also have INJOY
full registered and usable dialers which I was originally using to handly
dial-in service to my Suddenlink IP service operations from wherever just fine
for years.  However they have suddenly decided to cancel *ALL* telephone access
to their IP service everywhere effective January 1st this year in the USA! 
Let's not get into this mess on this message thread.

I'm looking into some way to substitute my own POTS dial-in to my own cable
hosted system here to at this point take over remote access to my IP service
from a number of very remote sites I must operate from.  That have *NO*
realistic IP support from ADSL or Cable at all.  Sure,satellite IP service is
available.  But the use of it for mission critical up and down major
communications service in real-time with a 1200MS delay for the control strokes
to the bird upstairs is just *NOT* a realistic option for long term OS/2 or any
EOS operating system goal. Though in a true real emergency it beats nothing
else for data IP work.

Any suggestions here?
