=====================
High Holger! Grin!

Innotek still has this all downloadable from their web site free as far as I
know. There have been some people who claimed they could not get too it. And
the URL was posted that was a direct link to the page as opposed to drill down.
Is this the case here? If that's the case, I can try to find the direct URL's
and post them here that go to the download packages. Sorry about
uncomfortable. But it is a three step process no matter how you go about it.
First the basic Innotek package, then the font engine and then the java, from
which you can just munch the order again and from there do the file copies of
the plugins if that's what you need to do on your box.

Seamonkey will work with IBM's Java 1.3.1 latest too. The latest IBM version,
in theory, was Service Release 10 that was available from Passport Advantage.
However, it was on the public Testcase that anyone can connect to for over a
week and it was not an encrypted file. Though it carries the 1.3.1 branding,
as I was told it is beyond the level three. In humor, you have just been
approached by a Level Four Troll!

As far as I know, IBM was fixing the security holes and just making service
releases for all of this. In that it was available from IBM on the public
Testcase wide open, I posted those files on my BBS here. They are posted in the
Area 10 IBM Info section, 8X3 file names for good old DOS downloads even if
needed:

     IBM131RT.EXE of 08-07-06
     IBM131TK.EXE of 08-07-08

Looking at the files description just now I noticed that although the files
were those, I had not updated the description to the SR10 notation. OK, that's
done now and either I'll recompile the file list later or it will update
tonight Texas time. If you use the IBM Java install, it will have to be
through the tools in good old Netscape for OS/2 with Java 1.8, grin. As far as
I know. You get to answer a question as to whether to make the IBM Java 1.3.1
your java support for Netscape and also the IBM Web Browser. I've never
changed off the version 1.8 for Netscape for serious reasons relative to
installs like this. But if you tell it to be used on your browser, it's my
experience that it will automatically handle the plug-in for that in even the
Mozilla browser case. Which is how you get the NPJI6.DLL into that directory
which even Seamonkey can use.

I also noticed that the original Innotek J14 files are there in that same area
too. And I did upgrade the 09-20-05 versions that did work for me there too.
The TelNet BBS port is broadband so even though all of this stuff is in good
sized files, it's not too bad that way. However, at this point I don't think I
have the Innotek font engines on the BBS to my recall. But those files are all
good old 8X3 file names too for DOS downloads if.. grin.

If you are going to the FTPSERV version of all this the area is in the IBMINFO
directory at the same fixed address IP as the BBS, Bro Nonnymouse! Grin.

Yes, this is a pain in the potumus. But gee, I'm trying to help!

--> Sleep well; OS/2's still awake! ;)
