WARP 4.0  == OS/2 V2.40 up to FP 12
WARP 4.50 == OS/2 V2.45 FP13-15
WARP 4.51 == OS/2 V4.451 == MCP1 <  eComStation 1.0
WARP 4.52 == OS/2 V4.452 == MCP2 <  eComStation 1.1

MCP == Merlin Convience Pack IBM sold it until 2006/12/31

OS/2 2.x was splitted in 2 different Systems

1. Server (like WSoD)
2. Client (Workplace)

The server had a lot of more functionality presented through the kernel with
more and extended APIs for memory management, filesystems, drivers, OEM,
extended subsystems like user management, networking (MPTS, tcp/ip, LAN),...

The client brought up lots of fixpacks, lots of new functionality (mainly WPS,
drivers), transitions from 16 bit to 32 bit.

FP10: slplit fixpack organisation.
      Base system fixpack splitted out all drivers to a
      separate fixpack driver fixack
FP12: the most important fixpack, reaching the highest
      point in stability OS/2 at all ever had.

FP13: was the 1. try to merge up client and server kernel.
      and the lowest point in stability OS/2 ever had
      upgrade tcp/ip to 4.1

FP14: a failed try to get stability back

FP15: success in increasing stability to nearly FP12

MCP1: merge up client and server subsystems as
      replace fdisk with LVM
      introduction of JFS in the client
      upgrade tcp/ip to 4.3

MCP2: repack MCP1 to hold all fixpacks and drivers
      available for MCP1 onto the installation CD
      That meand MCP1 FP3 and newer drivers

eComStation 1.0 >= MCP1
      preboot logic introduced
      installer of base system rewritten from scratch
      fixed installer of network system
      increased functionality of WPS
      cleaned up desktop layout

eComStation 1.1 >= MCP2
      preboot logic rewritten
      installer of base system rewritten from scratch
      installer of network subsystem rewritten from scratch
      cleaned up desktop layout
      rewritten printer driver install

eComStation 1.2
      preboot logic rewritten from scratch
      installer of base and network system rewritten
      from scratch
      multimedia subsystem rewritten

eComStation 1.2R
      repacking of of 1.2 to contain all fixes
      until MCP Fixpack 4, newer drivers
      fixup boot to be able to boot up on 64 bit CPU
      to installer
