Does XP with WGA deactivate if no internet connection?  I don't have the second
half of WGA the one that came out with KB905474, but based on assurances that
all was ok with accepting what were supposed to be MSI updates and windows
update software updates I did get suckered into installing the first half of
wga (the validation toolkit part that installs without warning, permission or
notice to the user) that is uninstallable and shown as Windows Genuine
Advantage Validation Tool (KB892130).  I'm not sure yet, if KB892130 phones
home or if its the KB905474.  If, I have problems from KB892130 I will restore
my hard drive from a prior Acronis TrueImage backup and just stop getting any
updates if necessary.
