Actually I see the cases as different. I didn't say the artwork can't be bought
, only that it can't be reused in another product ( commerical ).  No
restrictions on who buys it.

How do you derive a price for a musical piece ? If you say it open to all who
want it then you have eliminated exclusive contracts decreasing the value to
the creator.

I consider the creative works to be different from scientific works . ideas
should NEVER be copyrighted, only specific expressions of those ideas and then
for a limited time ( far less than the current limits).

Drug companies already do - they simply remove the drug from the market or
don't market it in that country.
