btw, just received an email from a friend of mine.  An excerpt;

UAC is nice.  The only thing I didn't like about it with beta 2 was the barrage
of UAC confirmation windows that would come up.  There was no option to say
"this app is ok, let it run when I double click on it", so every time you
opened certain apps it would pop a window up (annoying). It's supposed to be
better in the pre-rc1 release.  I haven't installed that one yet, but I
definitely will if I get time.
