You have to be careful with these numbers, I'll explain. When I say 95%, that's
not 95% of emails but 95% of delivery attempts (connects from computers trying
to deliver email to you). If you run a blacklist and blacklist at connect, the
spammers just try to deliver from the next infected zombie so you get 200
attempts to deliver the exact same spam, they keep trying until they hit one
that's not on any of the blacklists you happen to be using.

What is truely amazing though is the computing power the spammers have, imagine
having enough bandwidth and cpu to suck up 95% of the capacity of every mail
server on the planet! That is one heck of a delivery system. I've seen reports
of 100,000 bot botnets, picture what a building with 100,000 mail servers
trying to deliver email to you would look like, now picture 10 buildings like
that, that's the kind of computing power the spammers have at their disposal.

Now you are getting some idea of what we are up against and why it's so
important for people to SECURE THEIR GODDAMN COMPUTERS. (pardon my english)
