It's interesting.  I'm picking up more and more interest from the company about
moving to Apple/Mac OS X/Apple-Intel Hardware.

I just added a Mac-Mini to the studio mostly for doing iTunes encoding. Works
really well, is totally silent (well, with the other computers making noise,
this one is silent.  And, as the art designers said "It's so cute...".

My boss (CEO) is in the market for a new laptop, and now that the new Mac
Laptops can run Windows apps either via Boot Commander or Parallels, he's
seriously looking to move.  95% of his time is spent in Office with Outlook,
Excel and Word.  All things that are directly available on OSX with Office 2004
Mac.

For the rest, we'd probably do Parallels so he can startup Windows to run the
few apps he might need there.

I'm learning more and more about OS X and Apple hardware (the PMU reset button
is a key one to remember).

A flotilla of Mac Mini's would make a nice set of office machines.  Gig
Ethernet, 80-100 gig HD's, quite, small, low power consumption.  What's not to
like?
