Bob,
Considering the hardware (PIII 650MHz, rudimentary video controller, and = a
slow 4500RPM hard drive) it seems responsive enough. The 384MB of DRAM = helps
a bunch here I'm sure. But mind you I have spent most of my time = with
installation/re-installation chores. And I'm not really worried = about
performance at this point, this is more a feasibility test to see = if I can
really replace Windows XP and not lose any needed = functionality, especially
with my portable toys, iPod, iPaq, etc.
