Given a choice between something that looks good, works =
intuitively and
performs adequately, or something that is subtly lacking in design =
flair and
ease of use even though it is technically superior on paper, it =
was an easy
decision. I shouldn't have been surprised, I recall making the =
same decision
on my last PDA purchase - a choice between a Palm OS PDA or a =
Windows CE
PDA. Come to think of it, my most recent appliance purchase was =
decided the
same way - I bought a Playstation 2 (new slim version) instead of =
an Xbox.

Leaving DRM out of the equation doesn't change my decision. I'm in =

market now, and Apple's offerings have the best "fit and finish" =
