Bingo!  My point exactly.  She's being executed and nobody can see that. 
That's the horrible part.

Bingo again!  What's the problem with keeping the feeding tube in her and 
putting her in physical therapy and getting an MRI done?  When God wants her, 
He'll take her.  Who made the courts and Michael, God?  I sure didn't.  The 
feeding tube is NOT heroic measures.  What is being done to Terri is slow 
torture followed by an equally slow death.  I swear to God if my family did 
that to me, I'd haunt them until THEY died.

I just downloaded the Illinois (where I live) power of authority forms and 
living will forms.  Oddly in both forms, there's a comment section so you can 
specify what you want for specific situations.  Maybe the forms have been 
updated due to the Terri Schiavo case.  I don't know for sure.

I'll speak only for me now.  If I were in Terri's place, I'd want the feeding 
tube left in me.  I would ask that no heroic measures to keep me alive were to 
be done but a feeding tube is not a heroic measure.  When either my heart or 
lungs stop working, I'm ready to die but not before then.  Don't stick a 
respirator on me.  I'll haunt my family if they do that.  If I'm totally brain 
dead (and I've seen total brain death..my uncle had a stroke and he was 100% 
brain dead..Terri is NOT...she has some brain activity. A person with 100% 
brain death is NOT conscious at all), don't put a ventilator on me.  When the 
brain stem dies next, it will end my life at that point.  My uncle was on a 
ventilator for a couple of days and when they realized his brain was 
completely dead, they ("they" being my aunt and her kids) took him off and let 
him die peacefully.  He was in his middle 50s when he died.
