Works the same way with auto parts.

What limited resources?  If you combine all the sources in the US, we have
nearly as much, potentially, as the Saudis have.  And don't forget sources in
Canada, Mexico, and Russia that are still virtually untapped.  We're not in any
danger of running out of oil anytime soon.

Just curious, but what don't we need?  I would say if we start producing from
ALL our farmland, instead of paying farmers to let it lie fallow, we wouldn't
need to worry about growing what we may not need.  And redirect any surplus
into the fuel making arena instead of letting it rot in silos.
