You start playing with fire and someone is likely to get burned.

This story is interesting from several different angles.  Speaking as and 
for Christians, (and probably Jews too, but I don't really know), you could 
flush the Bible or speak against our religion with disrespect and it would 
not bother us at all.  We see our religion as one of ideas and ideals and we 
are content for the ideas to fend for themselves in the idea marketplace.

Muslims, on the other hand, are so lacking in belief in the persuasiveness 
of their own ideas that they must physically attack anyone who opposes them 
ideologically and woe to him who "desecrates" something they consider holy.

Put another way, we consider each human life sacred whereas Muslims consider 
some dirt as more holy.

The mainstream press has gone overboard to protect Islam as "the religion of 
peace".  This is not so much because they like Islam, but because they hate 
Christianity.  The absolute worst thing they can call a person is a 
conservative Christian.  If conservative Christians had attacked the World 
Trade Center, they would still be trashing Christians with a holy vengence.

Instead, as I mentioned, the media goes out of its way to play down the fact 
that the "religion of peace" has produced so many criminals.

When Mohhamed and Malvo where in the midst of their murderous sniping all 
around DC, we were assured several times that this was not the work of 
Muslims.

Richard Reid, the shoe bomber who tried to murder a plane load hadn't used 
that name in some time.  John Lindh hadn't used that name in some time.  But 
the press insisted on using the Christian names.  Why?  You figure it out.

When the Mulim shot up the Jews at the LA airport, we were told that they 
couldn't understand why he did such a thing.  Perhaps there was some dispute 
about the fare.

When the Tom Clancy story, "The Sum of All Fears", was made into a movie, 
the bad guys were changed from Muslim terrorists to Nazi terrorists who were 
attacking America in an attempt to start a war between the US and the USSR. 
Nazi terrorists?  Yeah, right.

Now we have Newsweek who so can't wait to attack Judeo/Christian America 
that they go off half-cocked, and then when their pals blow up a few people 
and places, they get queasy.   There is enough shame to spread around here. 
There are the folks at Newsweek who play fast and lose with the facts, all 
for bad motives, and there is the "religion of peace" which demonstrates its 
native barbarity in the reaction.

Shame on them all!


On another note - I have been getting just a dribble from Fido for the last
