Exactly. I was visiting some good friends tonight and the conversation got on
politics. These friends are in their mid 60s and traditional Democrats. The
husband piped up about Dino Rossi being a "mafioso" and trying to steal the
election. I told him that was rediculous, Rossi didn't have mafia ties. He told
me that all Italians were mafia.

I couldn't belive my ears! This friend is normally a very religious man. I
explained to him what the law suit was all about. I then very quickly changed
the subject. I don't want to end a friendship over such nonsense.

On my way home from their house, I pondered what had happened. I came to the
conclusion that is was his being a life long Democrat and the tone of the news
stories about this court fight. The media blames the entire mess on the
Republicans insistance that voting irregularities and possible fraud be
investigated.
