The Sheehan story is sad both in its effect on the family and in the politics
of it.

What American could not be moved by the mother of a fallen soldier?  This war
has produced about 1,800 Gold Star Mothers - I visited with some of their sons
and daughters during our trip to Washington two weeks ago - including Paul
Smith, who was awarded the Medal of Honor.  Cindy Sheehan was a woman we could
sympathize with even if we differed politically.

But, as usual with democrats, the story began to smell.  This generation's most
infamous propgagandist popped up in the background - seems that the pig Michael
Moore is involved.

We also learn that the mainstream press is telling only half of this story -
that Ms. Sheehan HAS met with the president and expressed warm feelings toward
him after their meeting.  We also learn through the alternative press that her
son had re-enlisted in the Army and was killed on his SECOND tour.  The family
had expressed no displeasure with the Bush administration until more than a
year after her son was killed.  I also find it odd that no other family member
has joined Ms. Sheenan in Crawford and that some family members have expressed
their displeasure with what she is doing.

Now, as much as I sympathize with Ms. Sheehan over the loss of her son, I can't
help but think she is being used in this matter.  What normal American - not a
cabinet member - would expect a SECOND meeting with the president of 280
million people.  Maybe an American who has been contacted by partisans and is
being funded by the pig Michael Moore?  *Somebody* has to pay her bills while
she camps out in Texas.

The democrat party has been thoroughly Clintonized, so using a grieving mother
to further a political agenda would not be beneath them.  A party that relishes
- and repeats - a high body count will do ANYTHING.

As much as I symapthize with Ms. Sheehan, I must also face some truths about
this situation and dismiss her demands.  She is being used by the Clintonites,
DUmmies, Bartcoppers and their mindless followers like Sakowski, and no good
EVER comes from associating with that form of human detritus.
