While our governor declared a state of emergency on August 27, three
days before Hurricane Katrina struck the city of New Orleans and the
Gulf Coast, your president sat on his ass at his ranch in Texas doing
nothing.  Indeed, for five full days after the storm hit, George W.
Bush continued to do nothing to help the poor people of New Orleans,
and those on the Gulf Coast, who were suffering from the devastation
brought forth by the storm.  Our governor did everything she could
think of doing, including asking the president for help.  The only
problem was, your president chose to sit on his ass, rather than do
something to help those in need.  Likewise, the mayor of New Orleans
did everything he could think of doing, including asking for help.
But did your president listen to either our governor or the mayor
of New Orleans?  Not at all.  After all, your president had more
important things to do - like riding his bicycle.  And God knows
no mere hurricane was going to spoil his vacation.

Louisiana voters voted for George W. Bush, twice, for president.
Mississippi voters voted for George W. Bush, twice, for president.
Alabama voters voted for George W. Bush, twice, for president.
And yet you suggest that the good people of Louisiana, Mississippi,
and Alabama deserve all the destruction that hurricanes can bring
upon them, and that those affected should receive no help at all.

You are one sick puppy.  I sure would hate to find out what you
would have wanted if those states would have voted for the Democratic
candidate for president.
