And Tubb has violated the confidentiality between physician and 
patient?

 RJ> off the handle at the slightest provocation but we also need a
 RJ> President who is alert mentally. 

Based on an extremely shaky premise ...

 RJ> Angry Bush walked away from reporter's questions.
 RJ> Tubb prescribed the anti-depressants after a clearly-upset Bush
 RJ> stormed off stage on July 8, refusing to answer reporter’s questions
 RJ> about his relationship with indicted Enron executive Kenneth J. Lay.

That indicates mental illness?   Sheeeeeesh!

 RJ> backstage.  If you can’t, I’ll find someone who can. 

If he *had* said that, it would have appeared as a *headline* in 
the New York Times, the mouthpiece of the Democrat party and of 
Bush-haters in general ...

 RJ> increasing concern among White House aides over the President’s wide
 RJ> mood swings and obscene outbursts.

Specific examples, please, together with witnesses' names ...

 RJ> Although GOP loyalists dismissed the reports an anti-Bush propaganda,
 RJ> the reports were later confirmed by prominent George Washington
 RJ> University psychiatrist Dr. Justin Frank in his book Bush on the Couch:
 RJ> Inside the Mind of the President. Dr. Frank diagnosed the President as
 RJ> a  paranoid meglomaniac  and  untreated alcoholic  whose  lifelong
 RJ> streak of sadism, ranging from childhood pranks (using firecrackers to
 RJ> explode frogs) to insulting journalists, gloating over state executions
 RJ> and pumping his hand gleefully before the bombing of Baghdad  showcase
 RJ> Bush’s instabilities. 

Strange but in all the TV appearances *I* have seen of President 
Bush he seems well in control of himself and perfectly normal.  
Of course "Dr. Frank" is trying to sell a book (Just as Michael 
Moore sells a fatally-flawed "documentary").

 RJ>  I was really very unsettled by him and I started watching everything
 RJ> he did and reading what he wrote and watching him on videotape. I felt
 RJ> he was disturbed,  Dr. Frank said.  He fits the profile of a former
 RJ> drinker whose alcoholism has been arrested by not treated. 

Sure ... [sigh] ...

 RJ> Dr. Frank’s conclusions have been praised by other prominent
 RJ> psychiatrists, including Dr. James Grotstein, Professor at UCLA Medical
 RJ> Center, and Dr. Irvin Yalom, MD, Professor Emeritus at Stanford
 RJ> University Medical School. 

I'll just *bet* they were praised ...

 RJ> The doctors also worry about the wisdom of giving powerful
 RJ> anti-depressant drugs to a person with a history of chemical
 RJ> dependency. 

That could be true enough however there's no evidence whatsoever 
that GWB takes such drugs.  BTW, I have heard Drs. Grotstein, 
Yalom and Frank (no relation ... heh heh heh ) are addicted to 
drugs.

 RJ> Bush is an admitted alcoholic, although he never sought
 RJ> treatment in a formal program, and stories about his cocaine use as a
 RJ> younger man haunted his campaigns for Texas governor and his first
 RJ> campaign for President. 

"Haunted" his campaigns?  You mean they were ghostlike and just 
as substantial as ghosts?

 RJ>  President Bush is an untreated alcoholic with paranoid and
 RJ> megalomaniac tendencies,  Dr. Frank adds.

I've heard Dr. Frank does strange things with small animals.

 RJ> Although the exact drugs Bush takes to control his depression and
 RJ> behavior are not know, White House sources say they are  powerful
 RJ> medications  designed to bring his erratic actions under control. 

How could they *not* be known?  Those mysterious "sources" 
apparently have told every *other* "secret" about him?

 RJ> Col. Tubb regularly releases a synopsis of the President’s annual
 RJ> physical, details of the President’s health and any drugs or treatment
 RJ> he may receive are not public record and are guarded zealously by the
 RJ> secretive cadre of aides that surround the President. 

How could that be???

 RJ> Veteran White House watchers say the ability to control information
 RJ> about Bush’s health, either physical or mental, is similar to Ronald
 RJ> Reagan’s second term when aides managed to conceal the President’s
 RJ> increasing memory lapses that signaled the onslaught of Alzheimer’s
 RJ> Disease. 

How shall I say this?  OK, let's just say it's Bullsh*t, is that 
blunt enough?

 RJ> It also brings back memories of Richard Nixon’s final days when the
 RJ> soon-to-resign President wondered the halls and talked to portraits of
 RJ> former Presidents. The stories didn’t emerge until after Nixon left
 RJ> office. 

How come it doesn't bring back memories of Bill Clinton with his 
uncontrollable sexual urges?

 RJ> One long-time GOP political consultant who   for obvious reasons  
 RJ> asked not to be identified said he is advising his Republican
 RJ> Congressional candidates to keep their distance from Bush.

*Another* unidentified "source".  This article is built on fog 
and low-lying clouds .

 RJ>  We have to face the very real possibility that the President of the
 RJ> United States is loony tunes,  he says sadly.  That’s not good for my
 RJ> candidates, it’s not good for the party and it’s certainly not good for
 RJ> the country.  

Wow!  Scary stuff ... and about as believable as a headline I saw 
many years ago in the National Enquirer  "Extraterrestrial Aliens 
Terrorize Small British Village" ... [sigh] ...
