Well after al he is an undeclared War President. "Bring 'em on" Bush.

(I actually cringed when I saw him smile that line on television)

Now it's 'what the hell, just send troops'. No draft.
No uninimity of the people, no real leader-ship WRT
security (The LACK of security is what keep imcumbancy in power...
dosn't take a Carl Rove to figure that one out. Izzat why we
keep pointing out to the world our weak-points WRT security?
This paranoid thought occurs as does the
realization that the American People do not distinguish between
governance and gaining power. The GOP understands FAR better
than the Democrats how to win elections. I dont see signs
of Governance:
Health
Education
Polution
The Debt
Fiscal Restraint
World opinion
...not to mention the continual blundering in Iraq.

Every few years I re-acquaint myself with the Federalist Papers...

God, but they were brilliant men!

Here is the sad summary:

This has been the epitath of many nations.

A large nation is slow to awaken but when it does
the fringes of right and left will be shaken off
good will will return, we will be happy with
blessings bestowed and will 'crown our good with
brotherhood, from sea to shining sea'.

In time?

Well, it depends. I'm optimistic.

(There was an anti particle that became part of a
quark, an up-quark that reacted with another and helped to become a proton
which attracted an electron and from hydrogen atoms,
and Things came to exist. And us. Conscious creatures of agressive
survival.
It dosen't appear that with nuclear war in the offing,
polution, disease, mutating bacteria, the earth stiring in its
evolution, that we will survive.

On the other hand if that quark was a down-quark,
we will be smart enough to ride Moore's Law to the Singularity.
 
Ememrson said that it was of vital importance
to remember that "Everyday is Doomsday" :-)

Interesting times, indeed.
